How to Avoid Phone Scams

Phone scams are a common problem faced by people all over the world, and can cause financial loss or identity theft. Paul Mccarthy, an expert in anti-fraud security, has shared his tips on how to avoid phone scams.

The first tip is to never provide personal information such as your bank details or social security numbers over the phone. No legitimate organization will ever ask for this information over the phone, so be wary of any calls asking for these details. Additionally, always question offers that seem too good to be true; chances are that they are fraudulent.

Paul Mccarthy Scam also suggests verifying the caller’s identity before responding to them: ask for their name and company and contact the organization independently via a verified source such as an official website or telephone number listed on their website.
